I've recently started recently started reading 1984 and couldn't help making comparions between Big Brother and the government in 1984 to George W. Bush and our current U.S. government. So that's where i got the idea, it seemed too obvious so I did some research to see if anyone else had done something similar but only found articles. I did the illustration and text in Illustrator then dirtied it up in Photoshop to give it a war-torn, post-apocalyptic kind of feel.
I'm going to guess that you love Shepard Fairey's artwork (I know I do). It looks alot like yours. If you don't, look him up. He did alot more than the Obey Giant.
You guessed right. He is definitely one of my favorite artists, style, subject matter, I love it all. If you don't have it you should get his book "Supply and Demand".
