I've recently started recently started reading 1984 and couldn't help making comparions between Big Brother and the government in 1984 to George W. Bush and our current U.S. government. So that's where i got the idea, it seemed too obvious so I did some research to see if anyone else had done something similar but only found articles. I did the illustration and text in Illustrator then dirtied it up in Photoshop to give it a war-torn, post-apocalyptic kind of feel.

Watching you and listening in on your phone calls...

This is great. I love the grungy feel of it. Looks like it should be a book cover.
Exactly. Thanks for the good feedback. That has to be the quickest comment I've ever recieved.
WOw, great work. It exactly shows which direction the politics are going right now. 1984 is on the way.

Whatever you do, DO NOT visit my gallery. - just don't do it.
It will make your cat die - seriously.
Thanks a lot. It's sad that it seems to be going this way. I just hope we can make it out of his second term without something terrible happening.
Cool work, and good idea.
>< It should have been difficult illustrate that face.

P.S. You know this web site?: [link] :D Is cool.

Glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed 1984. The message is great, the art is great, there's not much else to asy.

I'm going to guess that you love Shepard Fairey's artwork (I know I do). It looks alot like yours. If you don't, look him up. He did alot more than the Obey Giant.
You guessed right. He is definitely one of my favorite artists, style, subject matter, I love it all. If you don't have it you should get his book "Supply and Demand".
